Marsh, a global firm in risk, reinsurance and capital, people and investments, and management consulting has announced that Thomas Cannataro will join Mercer as its U.S. wealth management leader, effective immediately. He will report to Anne Marie Schultz, Mercer’s U.S. investments commercial leader.
In this role, Cannataro will lead Mercer’s U.S. wealth management business, helping accelerate growth across the segment and further strengthen the firm’s wealth management capabilities for clients.
Cannataro joins Mercer from BlackRock, where he spent more than 20 years in leadership roles across U.S. wealth advisory. Most recently, he served as head of portfolio design and models distribution for BlackRock’s U.S. wealth advisory, leading a national business responsible for commercialization and adviser adoption of model portfolios and portfolio construction solutions.
