Lionstone Investments, with its partner MarketStreet Enterprises, has plans for a major mixed-use development in Cool Springs, Tenn., transforming the 50-acre Carothers Building campus.
The project, East Works District, will require up to 20 years to execute and yield multiple buildings and phases. It is a pedestrian-focused, mixed-use community, which will ultimately feature flexible class A office space, residential buildings, unique shops, new culinary experiences, modern hotels and green spaces.
Lionstone, with a collective $6.6 billion in real estate assets under management, purchased the Carothers Building for $96 million in 2012. It has partnered with MarketStreet as its local operating partner and master developer of the site to be home to East Works District.
