LACERA issues an RFP for Real Assets Emerging Manager Program

by Lewis Dayton

The Los Angeles County Employees Retirement Association (LACERA) recently issued a request for proposals (RFP) for a Real Assets Emerging Manager Program.

LACERA is seeking a single manager for a Real Estate and Real Assets Emerging Manager Program, or two distinct mangers for Real Estate and Real Assets.

The mandate is to lead a separate account in a manager-of-managers structure to invest in funds led by emerging managers.

The initial submission deadline for a letter of intent to respond is April 10, while the submission deadline for the RFP itself is May 3.

Invitations to advance and interview, as warranted, will be issued during second or third quarter 2024, and the deliberation and selection process will occur in fourth quarter 2024.
