Kendall Sustainable Infrastructure III, managed by Kendall Sustainable Infrastructure, has held a second close, with commitments exceeding $140 million.
It is focused on generating current yield and total return through investments in distributed energy-transition projects and related real assets.
Limited partners from prior funds have returned, along with new investors, including Aegon Asset Management and other institutional, family office and individual investors.
The fund also has made its first capital call and is working on a pipeline of distributed-solar and energy-storage projects from existing and new development partners.
