North Square Investments (NSI) has announced that Jim Gentleman had joined the firm as the head of alternatives and RIA (registered investor adviser) distribution. North Square head of distribution Philip Callahan made the announcement.
In this newly created position, Gentleman will help direct the distribution of Azimut’s growing alternatives business through North Square’s financial intermediary channels. Callahan continued.
Beyond alternatives, Gentleman will lead North Square’s efforts within the RIA channel by working directly with the home offices of Enterprise RIAs, Callahan said. Gentleman’s focus will include platform placement, model inclusion and organizing adviser engagement activities in the field. In addition, Gentleman will partner closely with North Square’s internal and external sales team to identify RIA partnership opportunities and to assist North Square’s field wholesaling efforts, Callahan added.
