Invesco: Six things for investors to watch in April

The month of April will be critical in assessing the global response to the coronavirus crisis, says Kristina Hooper, chief global market strategist at Invesco, in a recent blog post.

Looking to other policymakers to provide effective strategies as the novel coronavirus spreads, here is what to watch for in April: 1) infection rates in the United States and Europe; 2) infection rates in emerging markets; 3) progress on phase 4 of U.S. stimulus; 4) FOMC minutes; 5) supportive central bank actions; and 6) the infection rate in Japan and economic stimulus from the Japanese government.
