Interval funds are close to surpassing $100 billion in assets under management, according to Pitchbook. These structures have proven to be a critical asset to how managers are expanding access to private capital strategies.
Managers are offering various forms of interval funds, such as funds that offer a combination of public- and private-market investments that provide increased liquidity features. In doing so, asset managers can utilize interval funds to offer a scalable fundraising model, as well as garner more investment from the private wealth sector.
