Intercontinental Real Estate Corp., an institutional real estate investment manager, announced that Sean Ruhmann has joined the firm as chief operating officer, effective April 1.
Founded in 1959, Intercontinental has evolved into a leading institutional real estate investment manager with a global investor base, more than $12 billion of assets under management, more than 500 institutional investors and multiple investment vehicles across strategies and geographies within the United States.
Ruhmann will partner closely with Intercontinental’s senior leadership team to help strengthen the firm’s operating platform and support its continued development over the long term. He joins Intercontinental with the mutual expectation that he will grow into the role of president over time.
