Houston developer Hines has plans to build a pair of glass and steel towers in the North Loop neighborhood in the CBD of Minneapolis.
The project, called North Loop Green, would include a 36-story apartment tower with 360 apartment units and 90 short-term rentals and a 14-story tower with 340,000 square feet of office space. The two towers would be connected by a skyway on the 14th level of the office building. The bridge will house 5,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space for a restaurant and/or bar. There also will be a rooftop gathering space, as well as 15,000 square feet of restaurant and retail space on the plaza level.
Hines bought six acres in the North Loop in 2012 for $13.7 million.
