HC Government Realty Trust acquires community-based outpatient clinic in Washington state

HC Government Realty Trust (HCGRT) has acquired a 25,500-square-foot community-based outpatient clinic in Everett, Wash., for an undisclosed amount.

The newly constructed facility is leased to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for a term of 15 years, which began in 2022. The clinic provides primary care and specialty health services, including mental healthcare, social work, women’s healthcare, radiology, laboratory and pathology testing.

“This brand new, build-to-suit facility fills a critical need for veterans located in Snohomish County and the surrounding areas,” said John Braswell, COO at HCGRT. “As the number of VA facilities within our portfolio has grown, we are increasingly impressed with VA’s mission to provide world class healthcare to our valuable veterans.”

HCGRT’s real estate portfolio currently includes 34 properties, representing 654,000 rentable square feet across 12 different agencies, located in 22 states.
