HarbourVest Partners has appointed Raymond Ahn as a managing director and chief marketing officer (CMO) and Jon Thomas as a managing director and chief accounting officer (CAO).
Ahn will be responsible for leading the global brand across regions, client segments and general partners. Thomas will be responsible for leading global financial reporting and controllership as well as financial operations functions.
Ahn has more than 20 years of experience in asset management marketing and joins HarbourVest from PGIM, the $1.4 trillion global investment management business of Prudential Financial. At PGIM, Ahn served as the CMO of PGIM Investments, the global wealth division of PGIM, where he established a global brand in the segment, expanding the marketing team and scaling marketing operations globally. Prior to joining PGIM, Ahn held various senior marketing and communications roles at firms including American Funds/Capital Group, Proshares, T. Rowe Price and BlackRock.
