Gresham Partners has promoted of Irene Zhang to investment director.
In her new role, Zhang will be a senior member of the private team, responsible for sourcing opportunities, conducting due diligence, and maintaining relationships with external managers. She will report to Sean Warrington, Partner and Head of Private Investments.
Since joining Gresham in 2020, Zhang has steadily expanded her impact on the investment team and across the firm. She has played a key role in evaluating and selecting external managers, developing investment strategies, and overseeing private market investments, including buyout, growth, venture, and private real assets. Over the past two years, Zhang has demonstrated strong leadership by sourcing and leading several investments in the firm’s private portfolio.
Prior to joining Gresham, Zhang worked in PwC’s Deals practice, advising Fortune 500 clients on complex accounting issues during M&A transactions.
