Global personal wealth increased 10.8 percent in U.S. dollar terms in 2025, accelerating from growth of 4.6 percent in 2024 and 4.2 percent in 2023. Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) recorded the strongest growth at 17.5 percent, followed by the Americas at 8.5 percent and Asia Pacific at 5.9 percent. The report notes the regional differences partly reflected currency movements, particularly the depreciation of the U.S. dollar, which amplified wealth gains outside the United States.
Adults in North America remained the wealthiest on average, with wealth per adult of approximately $660,000. Australia and New Zealand followed at nearly $590,000, while average wealth per adult in Western Europe exceeded $330,000. Switzerland ranked first globally, with average wealth per adult of $910,382, followed by the United States and Luxembourg.
