GID has opened a new open-ended logistics fund for real estate investors.
The core-plus GID Urban Logistics Fund will be targeting light industrial assets in the United States, following the firm’s strategy of targeting markets with high population density and consumer purchasing power.
GID’s industrial core-plus strategy targets urban, infill multitenant logistics assets typically located in infill markets that GID has identified as long-term growth opportunities, according to the firm’s website.
GID’s industrial portfolio comprises more than 20 million square feet within the top industrial markets in the United States.
GID declined to comment on its fundraising activity.
