Building on a successful Fund I, Fund Launch Partners is raising a $50 million second fund to invest in emerging private-market managers — a segment often overlooked by the largest GP stakes and seeding platforms.
The fund, known as Fund Launch Partners Fund II, has already held the first close of nearly $30 million toward its $50 million target. Rather than backing established firms with billions in assets under management, Fund Launch Partners focuses on smaller and emerging managers, typically at the earliest stages of firm formation.
The strategy is designed to give investors diversified exposure to the economics of multiple private market firms, including management company equity, carried interest and direct fund participation.
