CanTex Capital, a Dallas-based commercial real estate investment company focused on infill industrial assets, has purchased a manufacturing facility in Fort Worth, Texas. Financial details were not disclosed.
The building, totaling 230,292 square feet, is located along the frontage road of Interstate 35 near I-20, and has rail access via an active spur serviced by Fort Worth Western Rail. The facility includes office space, as well as heavy power and land available for outdoor storage.
In light of the increased demand for industrial sites in the area, CanTex plans to implement a heavy capital improvement plan before leasing, including painting the exterior, refreshing the office spaces, renovating the restrooms, adding LED lighting throughout the building, and improving the land to accommodate outside storage. CanTex plans to complete the capital improvements throughout first quarter 2025.
