Finding niche investment opportunities in the underserved lower middle market

The lower middle market — that $5 million to $25 million investment size — is often overlooked because it is too large for the private investor but too small for the institutional investor, making it a sweet spot for finding niche assets at attractive prices, according to David Butler and Andy Stewart, managing partners of Argosy Real Estate Partners.
