Fieldpoint Private Trust has announced the appointment of Brian Donovan as president, family office, marking a significant addition to the firm’s leadership team as it expands its premier family office and advanced planning services.
Donovan brings nearly 30 years of experience in tax, estate planning and multigenerational wealth structuring for entrepreneurs, executives and family offices. He joins Fieldpoint Private Trust from Northern Trust, where he served as senior managing director for the Greater New York and Connecticut offices. In that role, and his prior role as regional managing director of the global family and private investment office, Donovan was responsible for diversified teams of wealth management and investment professionals, including advising ultra-high-net-worth families and institutions on complex wealth planning, fiduciary and family governance strategies.
