Crescent Capital Group, a Los Angeles–based alternative credit investment firm, has hired Erik Hall as managing director, head of the midwestern region in the investor solutions group.
Hall, who has nearly 25 years of investor relations, business development and investment experience, will be based out of Crescent’s Chicago office. He will be responsible for marketing Crescent Capital’s strategies to institutional investors, including corporate and public pension plans, endowments, foundations, healthcare systems and family offices across the Central U.S.
Hall was previously with GCM Grosvenor for nearly a decade as managing director in the business development and client group, where he raised institutional capital for the firm’s strategies and funds as well as in separately managed accounts. He previously was with Citigroup and First Chicago Capital Markets, and he began his career at the Chicago Office of Budget & Management.
