Deutsche Bank seeks to hire more private bankers for its U.S. wealth business

Deutsche Bank AG’s U.S. wealth unit is seeking to hire more senior private bankers, Benjamin Stupples and Arno Schuetze reported for Bloomberg.

Stupples and Schuetze reported that Arjun Nagarkatti, the head of Deutsche Bank AG’s U.S. wealth team, is looking to add up to a dozen private bankers in the United States, mostly focused on expanding their presence in San Francisco and Los Angeles.

Nagarkatti’s U.S. unit almost tripled its net new assets in the first quarter of 2024 compared with first quarter 2023, he said in an interview with the article’s authors, and the firm is ambitious about its continued growth prospects.
