Davis Cos. is building a 216 bed, three-building, multi-story student housing project in Albany, Ga.
It is located across from Albany State University.
Each unit will include a common living room area and kitchen. Each will have two bathrooms with a total of four vanities and four private bedrooms. In addition, the three buildings will surround a pool.
The project helps with the shortage of local housing. Albany State University had problems earlier this year when less than 50 ASU students had to be sent to a local hotel, instead of dorms on campus, reported FOX 31.
The project is expected to be completed by August 2020. Local WALB News 10 reported the project is ahead of schedule.
