Cushman & Wakefield announced the firm has represented Walmart Inc., a people-led, tech-powered omnichannel retailer, in acquiring a 1,032,248-square-foot, class A distribution building on nearly 60 acres in Salt Lake City. Before the sale, Walmart Fulfillment Services was leasing the entire property located at 990 N. 6550 W. on a long-term basis.
Known as the Salt Lake City Global Logistics Center, the property comprises a state-of-the-art, cross-dock industrial building with excellent circulation, immediate freeway access, and a 40-foot clear height. It sits directly west of the SLC International Airport. The facility recently completed construction in 2022 in the fast-growing Airport submarket.
