Core Spaces, the vertically integrated real estate developer, operator and investment manager, announced the closing and groundbreaking of Hub Athens Dougherty, a new 1,656-bed purpose-built student housing community located near the University of Georgia in Athens, Ga., set to deliver in 2028.
Hub Athens Dougherty will include 536 units and 1,656 beds across a mid-rise development with a diverse mix of floor plans from studio to five-bedroom units, balancing premium layouts with more affordable options to serve a wide range of student needs. Amenities include more than 27,000 square feet of interior amenities and an additional 20,000 square feet of exterior amenity space, featuring study lounges, group study rooms, fitness and wellness areas, a resort-style rooftop pool and common spaces designed to foster connection and community.
