Ida Liu, head of Citi’s private bank, has announced her resignation after leading the unit for four years and joining Citigroup 18 years ago.
Liu has shared on LinkedIn that she made the decision to leave for the next chapter of her career. After her departure, Liu’s role will be eliminated, and a new structure announced, where the four regional heads will report to Andy Sieg, head of wealth business.
Citi Wealth also has hired a new head of strategy and head of business for the private bank. Christian Zeinler, coming from UBS Group AG as head of strategy and business development, will take the role.
