CIM Group has announced that it has welcomed Jason Vassiliades to its infrastructure investments team as managing director. Vassiliades brings more than 25 years of experience investing and developing infrastructure and real estate with a strong background in transportation infrastructure.
Before joining CIM Group, Vassiliades served as managing director at Duration Capital, a transportation infrastructure investment firm that was founded in 2024 as a spin-out from Oaktree Capital. At Oaktree, he was a managing director holding several key positions overseeing various infrastructure programs. He also founded the transportation innovation group at Oaktree, which invested in and partnered with infrastructure-related technology companies.
Earlier in his career, Vassiliades led multibillion-dollar real estate and infrastructure projects internationally in the UAE and contributed to economic development initiatives across the Balkans, Caucasus and Central Asia.
