Charles Schwab has released its new alternatives investment platform, Schwab Alternative Investments Select, which is available to all eligible clients with more than $5 million in household assets.
This expansion of services provides high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients with nontraditional investment approaches and access to private markets. The demand for these types of investments is increasing, and more than half of Schwab’s clients reported having a minimum of 5 percent of their portfolio allocated to alternative investments.
Charles Schwab provides investment services to independent adviser clients, overseeing a total of $58 billion in alternative assets.
