Calida appoints Chris Leggee as senior VP of capital markets

Chris Leggee has joined The Calida Group, a vertically integrated multifamily investment and development firm, from Griffis Residential.

Leggee, who has more than 15 years of experience in commercial real estate and capital markets, will serve as senior vice president of capital markets at Calida. He will lead all capital markets activity for the firm to support multiple strategic initiatives.

Leggee’s experience spans acquisitions, development, asset management and fundraising. At Griffis Residential, he was responsible for raising large discretionary funds consisting of institutional, family office and high-net-worth investors, totaling nearly $1 billion in commitments.

Leggee successfully diversified and broadened the firm’s investor base to include both domestic and international capital sources, while building strong relationships within the industry.
