Brookfield Infrastructure Debt Fund III surpasses $3b

The Brookfield Infrastructure Debt Fund III has captured more than $3 billion of capital commitments from 27 investors, according to a recent filing with the SEC.

Recent investors in the fund include the Sacramento County Employees Retirement System, the New Mexico State Investment Council, the Teachers' Retirement System of the State of Illinois and the Maine Public Employees Retirement System.

Brookfield Infrastructure Debt Fund III is focused on infrastructure debt, targeting mezzanine debt investments in high-quality core infrastructure assets primarily in North America, as well as in South America, Australia and Europe.

The fund’s predecessor, Brookfield Infrastructure Debt Fund II, closed in 2020 with more than $2.7 billion capital raised.
