Brighton Jones, a $30 billion wealth management firm, has hired Garrett Newman as a lead adviser in San Diego, Calif., and Christopher Budny as a lead adviser in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. In their new roles, Newman and Budny will serve as personal CFO for individuals and families, and lead local service teams dedicated to helping clients understand and achieve their financial and broader life goals.
Newman joins Brighton Jones from After-Tax Wealth Management, where he served as a financial planner for the past five years. He has more than 15 years of experience in the wealth management industry and previously held positions at Prudential Financial and Fidelity Investments. Having built a client base in the San Diego community over the past several years, he is dedicated to providing local individuals and families with comprehensive wealth and investment management services.
