BMO Wealth Management has appointed Daniel Phillips as CIO for U.S. Wealth Management. In this role, Phillips will strengthen performance, modernize the BMO platform and lead the wealth management team.
Phillips brings more than 20 years of experience in the industry, where he served as CIO for SMArtX Advisory Solutions for more than one year, as well as 18 years at Northern Trust, where he was director of asset allocation strategy for seven years.
Phillips holds a chartered financial analyst (CFA) license, as well as an MBA in investments and securities from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BBA in economics from the University of Iowa.
