BMO adds to private wealth team

Canada’s Bank of Montreal (BMO) has made several new appointments in its private wealth team, reported numerous media outlets.

Craig Meeds, who joins BMO from Toronto-Dominion, will serve as the head of wealth advice in Canada, while Maarten Jansen joins as head of North American products and platforms from RBC Wealth Management. Meeds had been vice president and head of investment management practices and wealth insurance services with TD Wealth since 2018. And Jansen is a 29-year veteran of RBC Wealth Management, where he was most recently head of global investments and trading.

Martha Moen, previously at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, joins as the head of operational excellence and growth. Moen had been general manager of investor communication solutions, Canada at Broadridge Financial Solutions Inc. since December 2020, and worked for 16 years with CIBC.
