Blackstone Energy Partners III, a global energy fund managed by Blackstone, has raised $4.1 billion from 79 investors, an SEC filing has revealed.
In 2019, the California State Teachers’ Retirement System committed $100 million to Blackstone’s third energy fund.
Similar to its predecessor fund, Blackstone Energy Partners III is looking to invest $4.5 billion in energy infrastructure projects throughout the United States. Blackstone Energy Partners II held a $4.5 billion final close in 2015.
