Beth Hammack to leave Goldman Sachs

Beth Hammack, a 30-year Goldman Sachs veteran who co-leads the bank’s global financing group, is leaving the company, sources familiar with the matter told Bloomberg on Wednesday.

Previously, Hammack was global treasurer of Goldman Sachs and CEO of Goldman Sachs Bank USA, where she was responsible for the firm’s funding, liquidity and capital management strategy. Before that, she held a variety of leadership positions in Interest Rates Products (IPR) trading, including global head of short-term macro trading, global head of Repo trading and co-head of U.S. interest rate products cash trading.

In a separate report, Mark Sorrell, who co-heads mergers and acquisitions in the firm’s London office, and Gonzalo Garcia, who co-heads the European investment banking division, have indicated they may resign,
