BARDAS Investment Group and Bain Capital Real Estate announced the groundbreaking of Echelon Studios, a new 600,000-square-foot state-of-the-art urban studio campus located on a 5.5-acre site at 5601 Santa Monica Blvd. in Hollywood. The complex, which is conceived of as a modern movie studio lot, is expected to be completed in second quarter 2026.
Echelon Studios will be the first new purpose-built urban studio lot developed in Hollywood in more than 50 years and will fuse state-of-the-art soundstage production facilities and support infrastructure with ample digital production and creative office space to meet the evolving demands of content creators across industries.
Echelon Studios is centered around five sound stages (four 19,000-square-foot soundstages and a 15,000-square-foot flex stage) with an extensive base camp and mill. The complex also will feature a 90,000-square-foot bungalow village with two six-story creative and production offices flanking the product
