AssetMark, a wealth management platform for independent financial advisers, has announced the appointment of Kate Winters as senior vice president and head of investment platforms and solutions. Reporting to AssetMark’s chief wealth solutions and strategy officer, Winters will lead the firm’s investment platform teams and enterprise-wide commercial strategy, with a focus on expanding the firm’s capabilities across registered investment adviser, high-net-worth, private markets and other growth areas.
Based in AssetMark’s East Coast Hub in Charlotte, N.C., Winters will help advance the firm’s evolution from a traditional turnkey asset management provider into a more comprehensive wealth management platform, supporting capabilities that help advisers serve their clients and grow their businesses.
