Ameriprise Financial has appointed Bill Williams to oversee employee advisers, as well as the institutional business and recruiting, according to Barron's.
This appointment comes after the announcement of Pat O’Connell’s retirement, planned for June 1. O’Connell currently oversees the employee adviser channel.
This transition is combining oversight for both the employee and franchisee adviser channels under Williams, who is currently heading the contractor adviser channel.
