The amount of money in alternative investments jumped more than 400 percent compared with previous years, according to Advyzon, a wealth management technology and investment management services firm, in its “The New Diversification: Asset Allocation Into 2023”, a white paper that looks at how advisers have invested client funds over the past five years, with a particular focus on the shifts made during 2022.
At the end of 2022, advisers had 53.7 percent of client assets in stocks, 20.3 percent in bonds, 0.6 percent in commodities, 2.7 percent in alternatives, 6.7 percent in cash
