Adams Street Partners, a private markets investment management firm with more than $76 billion of assets under management, has announced that Alec Kersman has joined the firm as partner and global head of client solutions. Based in New York, Kersman will oversee Adams Street’s institutional investor relations, wealth management, marketing and product strategy groups and will serve on the firm’s executive, pricing and new product committees.
The appointment brings Adams Street’s client-facing capabilities under integrated leadership as the firm continues to expand its global platform and deepen relationships with institutional investors, wealth managers and financial advisers. In his role, Kersman will focus on strengthening coordination across client coverage, service, marketing and product development to support the evolving needs of Adams Street’s global client base.
