DLC announced it has acquired Springfield Commons in partnership with funds managed by the Private Real Estate Group of Cohen & Steers. The 119,085-square-foot shopping center is in Springfield, Va. This is DLC’s second transaction with Cohen & Steers in 2024. DLC deployed growth capital committed by Temerity Strategic Partners.
Springfield Commons is shadow-anchored by a Home Depot along with key tenants including PureGym, Old Navy, Pure Hockey and Staples. It is located in Fairfax County, 15 miles outside of Washington, D.C., and across the street from the Springfield-Franconia Metro Station and TSA Headquarters.
Springfield Commons has 1,300 feet of frontage along Frontier Drive in the affluent market and is within minutes of the Interstate 95/Interstate 495 interchange. The property is currently 78 percent leased.
