J.D. Sitton joins UPSHOT Capital Advisors as head of capital markets & strategy

Upshot Capital Advisors has hired J.D. Sitton as a managing director and head of capital markets and strategy.

Sitton is part of Upshot’s continued growth strategy which includes growing its institutional investor base in order to better capitalize on its expanding healthcare relationships across the United States and related real estate investment opportunities. In this role, he will be responsible for Upshot’s strategy and product development while leading all aspects of client acquisition efforts including capital raising, marketing, investor relations and client service.

Sitton joins Upshot after 3-years at Hines where he served as head of capital markets for the Americas. He brings 30 years of experience with institutional investors which includes 15 years with JPMorgan Asset Management, where he served as Head of Real Estate Americas Client Strategy and as a member of JPMorgan’s U.S. Real Estate Management team.
