What do property technologies encompass these days?

Historically, real estate used to be thought of as a relatively simple industry, offering a space for people to shop, eat, live and work. Owners were focused on owning the best assets in the best locations. Today, it is much more challenging to own and operate real estate, as the industry confronts unprecedented hurdles and transformative shifts that demand attention and adaptability. Navigating the environment requires a focus on proptech as technology can help owners better manage the capital markets, rising expenses, climate change, asset obsolescence and automation.

Among the technologies being funded by proptech investors are emerging AI solutions to manage and operate real esta
