Wells Fargo acquires $3b Munster Freeman Group

Wells Fargo has acquired $3 billion private wealth team, the Munster Freeman Group. The group was previously under Merrill Private Wealth Management for more than 10 years.

Led by Bruce Munster, Samuel Munster and David Freeman, Munster Freeman specializes in merger and acquisition advisory and personal wealth management. The group focuses on entrepreneurs, entertainers, investors and executives in the technology, finance, consumer products, business services and space sectors.

Based in El Segundo, Calif., Bruce Munster previously served as managing director at Morgan Stanely and private wealth adviser at UBS Wealth Management. Freeman also served as financial adviser at UBS and Morgan Stanley. Samuel Munster joined Merrill in 2016.
