Black Creek Group has appointed Steve Stroker as vice chairman of Black Creek Capital Markets, the company’s distribution group.
In his new role with Black Creek, Stroker will direct the firm’s capital raising efforts and shape its strategy to better service financial advisers and wealth managers, as well as expand distribution opportunities in the wealth management and registered investment adviser channels.
He served most recently as a senior partner with Red Rock Strategic Partners, a business strategy consulting firm for wealth managers. Previously, Stroker served as a regional director at R.W. Baird. Prior to Baird, Stroker spent nearly 25 years at Smith Barney and Morgan Stanley, where he was a financial adviser, branch manager, complex director and regional director.
