New York City–based RXR Realty has raised $102.6 million for its RXR QOZ Fund I, according to a Form D filing with the SEC. The firm did not comment on its fundraising efforts.
RXR already has projects that are a fit for its opportunity zone fund, according to OpportunityDb.com. The firm has already selected sites for development through existing vehicles such as RXR New York Metro Emerging Sub-Market Venture LP, which has focused on areas that have suffered from under-investment, and RXR Real Estate Value Added Fund III LP.
RXR Realty is a vertically integrated real estate operating and development company that is focused on a wide array of value creation activities, including distressed investments, uncovering value in complex transactions, structured finance investments and real estate development. The RXR platform manages 61 commercial real estate properties and investments with an aggregate gross asset value of approximately $18.5 billion.
