Conshohocken, Pa.–based PPB Capital Partners has hired Frank Burke as chief investment strategist.
Burke, one of the former lead portfolio managers for Hatteras Funds, will advise PPB Capital’s growing network of investment advisers on selecting best-of-class alternative investment products for its clients.
Burke brings over 20 years of asset management, portfolio construction and financial advisory experience to PPB. As chief investment strategist, he will assist RIAs in constructing client portfolios that best utilize alternative investment managers.
While at Hatteras Funds, Burke managed several of the firm’s alternative investment fund of funds and co-investment strategies. Earlier in his career, he helped source managers and build alternative investment portfolios at various multi-family offices including Abbot Downing (formerly Calibre Investment Consulting) and GenSpring Family Offices.
Burke holds a Master of Business Administration from Duke University and a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Villanova University where he majored in finance. Burke holds the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst. He is also a member of CFA Institute, CAIA Association and CFA Society of Philadelphia.
