Nationwide office visits rose 4.7 percent year-over-year in October, according to the Placer.ai Office Index October 2025 update. The United States is still far from pre-pandemic levels, with data showing visits were down 30.8 percent from October 2019, but office foot traffic is gradually yet visibly rebounding.
As for individual cities, San Francisco continues to see visit growth, with office foot traffic up almost 12 percent year-over-year. Miami leads, though, as visits were down only around 10 percent compared to October 2019.
Additionally, most office foot traffic was concentrated during the mid-week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays), with Friday being the slowest day.
