Financial advisers anticipate broadening their use of alternative investments, but to do so, educational materials and tools are necessary. Based on findings from FUSE Research Network’s Advisor Trend Monitor Series Report – Alternative Products: The Advisor View, 85 percent of surveyed advisers are interested in online tools to model the impact of alternatives on a portfolio, with 42 percent citing high interest. Overall, approximately 80 percent or more are interested in the seven educational resources.
“Our research also revealed that 70 percent of advisers believe there is a lack of alternative investing educational materials,” said Mike Evans, director of BenchMark Research at FUSE Research. “This is an opportunity for firms to differentiate their alternative offerings with quality m
