Lisa Laird will join Mercy Investment Services as CIO.
The firm announced a national search for a dedicated CIO, separating the president and chief investment officer roles Bryan Pini has held since 2007, to better focus on each position’s distinct responsibilities.
Laird holds the Chartered Financial Analyst and Chartered Alternatives Investment Analyst designations and brings more than 20 years of institutional investment experience. Most recently, she served as chief strategist at Investment Office Resources. Her prior experience includes principal and senior adviser at Hightree Advisors and chief investment officer at Providence St. Joseph Health, where she oversaw more than $18 billion in operating, insurance, defined-benefit and defined-contribution assets.
