King Street Capital Management, a global alternative investment firm, has announced that Philip Brown has joined the firm as a managing director on the U.S. research team, where he will be responsible for identifying and evaluating investment opportunities across opportunistic and distressed debt and event-driven special situations, with a focus on the infrastructure, utility, power, energy and energy transition sectors. Based in New York City, Brown will work closely with Jeff Rosenbaum, partner and member of the global investment committee.
Most recently, Brown was a partner and co-portfolio manager at P. Schoenfeld Asset Management (PSAM), where he spent more than 15 years managing a portfolio of distressed and stressed credit investments across industries. Prior to joining PSAM, Brown spent four years at Sun Capital Partners and two years at Buckeye Capital Partners.
