J.P. Morgan surpasses $1 billion for a private-markets fund that is designed for individual investors, according to The Wall Street Journal.
The fund, JPMorgan Private Markets Fund, is the firm’s first alternative-asset fund that targets wealth investors and their advisers. This fund focuses on secondary and co-investment opportunities. Investors in the S and D class must make an initial investment of $25,000 or more, followed by $10,000 in following commitments. Investors in the I class must first invest a minimum of $1 million.
As of February 2025, the fund saw an 18 percent return, compared to its target of 12 percent to 15 percent.
